Winning Weddings Evening Out will be Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Cutting Room, 10536 – 124 Street from 5 – 9 p.m. Various vendors will be available to discuss your wedding needs as well as complimentary bridal makeovers that evening. Entrance is free but you must register at www.winningweddings.ca and call The Cutting Room to book your makeover time, ask for John or Natasha 780-496-9977.

Winning Weddings, a co-operative of wedding related businesses, will be giving away an entire wedding valued at over $60,000 FREE on February 12, 2012. To assist busy brides and grooms with the planning of their events in the interim, Winning Weddings is having a number of mini bridal shows leading up to the main event. 6. Book your appointment with me, The Invitation Lady about 3-6 months before your wedding! No expiry and no limit on how many gift certificates you use per order. The only caveat is that you must order from a catalogue with me directly.

Yes, 'tis true, the recession has hit everyone hard so I was laid off from my day job. I am going to try in the next few months to see if I can make a go of the invitation biz full time. I am so excited! It will allow me to spend the summer with my son and having a more flexible schedule will hopefully help me with my work-life balance ;0) I hope the sun is shining where you are, it is raining here at the moment!!
